We are immediately hiring the following for our coiled tubing unit, capillary unit, injector head, hydraulic power unit and oil field equipment build and repair, as well as the hydraulic service repair.

Service Mechanics of Levels 1-4 must be able to communicate with customers in a professional manner; accurately present service manager’s communications to customers; properly complete paperwork; know how to use service literature and find answers; maintain a clean driving record; be presentable and represent the company to our customers and future customers; work flexible hours; and do preventative maintenance and document the service and usage of company vehicles.  In addition, mechanics are rated by the below criteria.

Mechanic 1:  Know basic hand tools, bolts and sizes, how to tap holes and can identify size tools to use; capable of taking instructions, cleaning parts and keeping shop clean and organized; properly drill holes, correctly operate forklifts and do daily inspection on equipment and perform basic maintenance.

Mechanic 2:  Perform all Mechanic 1 duties plus know next level of tooling, know and identify hydraulic  fittings, correctly make up hydraulic hoses, work with minimum supervision, write up incoming jobs, properly fill out requisitions, read machinist tools, identify seals, operate all shop tools needed for jobs, and would be beneficial to possess basic knowledge of tubing injectors used in coiled tubing operations.

Mechanic 3:  Perform all Mechanic 1 & 2 duties plus work with no supervision; read hydraulic schematics; identify all ports on hydraulic valves and know flow direction; complete write-ups on all valves, cylinders and pumps; correctly layout hydraulic circuits and components;  anticipate work to be completed and schedule work time; operate electrical test meters; assemble hydraulic oilfield equipment and hose up equipment; understand tolerances and be able to identify and evaluate machine fit problems; able to run out hydraulic power units and complete all documentation; and read assembly drawings.

Mechanic 4:  Perform all Mechanic 1, 2 & 3 duties plus troubleshoot hydraulic systems, both closed and open loop; understand and troubleshoot electrical circuits; do accurate job cost repairs; perform and document complete final inspection of hydraulic and mechanical equipment (test sheets, run out sheets and analysis); supervise all levels of mechanics insuring they are productive and on-task; and keep daily team work-to-be-performed lists and supervise mechanics to insure they work staying ahead of material and components.
